What you'll accomplish
The same partnership pitch doesn't land the same way with a CEO, a product lead, and a marketing counterpart, but rewriting it three ways from scratch eats 20-30 minutes per variant. A custom GPT built with your base pitch and a handful of stakeholder personas reframes the pitch for a specific audience in seconds, so one base pitch becomes several tailored versions without starting over each time.
What you'll need
Before opening ChatGPT, write a short profile for each stakeholder type you regularly pitch: what they care about, what objections they typically raise, and what kind of proof point moves them. A CEO cares about strategic fit and market opportunity. A product lead cares about integration effort and technical feasibility. Getting this right on paper first makes the GPT's output far more useful.
In ChatGPT, click Explore GPTs in the sidebar, then click Create. Alternatively, click your profile in the bottom left, select My GPTs, then Create a GPT.
In the Configure tab, name it something like "Partner Pitch Reframer" and write instructions describing the task: take a base pitch and a target persona, then reframe the pitch for that audience's priorities and language.
Example instructions:
You reframe a standard partnership pitch for different stakeholder personas. I'll give you the base pitch and tell you which persona to target (CEO, product lead, marketing counterpart, or procurement). Adjust the emphasis, language, and proof points to match that persona's priorities, using the persona descriptions in the uploaded reference file. Keep the core value proposition the same. Change only the framing.
Under Knowledge in the Configure tab, upload your standard pitch content and the persona profiles you wrote in Step 1.
What you should see: Both files listed under Knowledge, available to every conversation with this GPT.
In the preview panel, ask for a reframed version for each of your three or four personas. Compare the outputs against what you know actually resonates with each audience, and adjust your Instructions or persona descriptions if something feels off.
What you should see: Distinctly different framing for each persona while the underlying facts about your partnership offer stay consistent.
Troubleshooting: If every persona's output sounds nearly identical, your persona descriptions in Knowledge are probably too generic. Add more specific detail about what each stakeholder type actually cares about.
Once the reframing quality looks right across personas, save the GPT. It's now available under My GPTs whenever you're prepping for a multi-stakeholder pitch meeting.
Reframe for an unfamiliar persona:
I'm pitching a [persona type] I don't have a saved profile for. Their priorities are [describe]. Reframe the base pitch to speak to those priorities.
Shorten for a hallway conversation:
Condense the [persona] version of this pitch into three sentences I could use if I only had two minutes with them.
Anticipate objections by persona:
Based on the [persona] framing, what are the two most likely objections this stakeholder would raise, and how should I respond to each?
